Nash Vegas

See the Mavs take on the Suns

By Noah W. Bailey

Published on December 06, 2007

Steve Nash broke my heart on May 20, 2005, drilling a clutch three at the end of regulation and taking over in OT to down the Mavs in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs. Sure, we beat them in the playoffs the next year, but I was at that 2005 game, screaming my head off and yelling "Traitor!" every time Nash took a free throw. (I know, I know—Cuban wouldn't match the contract the Suns offered Nash. And he's won two MVP awards while leading the Suns to exactly zero finals appearances. But he had to move to Phoenix to do it—he should have just retired, moved into Dirk's poolhouse and kept his dignity. Or not.) This Wednesday, Nash and the rest of the run-and-gun Suns roll into the AAC to take on your Dallas Mavericks. The game tips off at 8:30 p.m. For tickets visit ticketmaster.com.
