I've Got Ace Frehley

The Space Ace awaits at the HOB

When KISS went back to both their makeup and their original lineup in the mid-'90s, it was one of the most contrived marketing moves ever. But a packed Reunion Arena show back in '96 proved it worked. What could have been on the heavier side of lame reignited interest in the band. Their individual careers, however—well, that's a different story. Guitarist Ace Frehley has gone solo again, hitting the road sans the Space Ace makeup bit. Although touring with no new material, he's got an ample back catalog to work from. Hey, I don't get it either, but if he's willing to play "Cold Gin," I guess I'm in. Ace Frehley performs at House of Blues Sunday. Dixie Witch opens. For tickets, visit hob.com or ticketmaster.com.
