How do you teach a lesson about giving in today's society? Include shoes. Perpetuating good shoe karma beats no good karma at all. The Elves and the Shoemaker is a timeless tale about a poor cobbler who gives away his last pair of shoes and ends up with the elf-made equivalent of Manolos in return. Showtimes for The Elves and the Shoemaker are 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday at Creative Arts Theatre and School, 1100 W. Randol Mill, Arlington. Tickets are $6. Call 817-861-CATS or visit creativearts.org.
