Balloons can be fun or scary, depending on how close they are to someone with a pin. But rarely have balloons been labeled "macabre." Apparently, it takes a BB gun to make that happen--that's art for you. William Lamson incorporates the set-up and destruction of balloons into his short videos, proving that there's more than one way to burst a bubble. William Lamson's Actions runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and by appointment through October 11 at the Marty Walker Gallery, 2135 Farrington St. Admission is free. Call 214-749-0066 or visit martywalkergallery.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Sept. 6. Continues through Oct. 11, 2008
